Abstract

In a biblical scene from the book of Judges, Jephthah's daughter comes out to greet her triumphant warrior father, only to realize that he has promised to sacrifice to God, whatever comes out of his house to meet him when he returns. This image depicts a large triangle having a thin diameter that is prominently placed the painting.
