Abstract

In a biblical scene from the book of Judges, Jephthah's daughter comes out to greet her triumphant father, only to realize that he has promised to sacrifice to God, the first person that he sees. A very large triangle having distinct bell-like rings is played held high in the left hand in an overhanded manner.
