Abstract

In a biblical scene from the book of Judges, Jephthah's daughter comes out to greet her triumphant warrior father, only to realize that he has promised to sacrifice to God, whatever comes out of his house to meet him when he returns. The triangle player holds the triangle down at her side, realizing the dire situation.
