Abstract

In a biblical scene from the book of 1 Samuel, the triangle is played by a woman on the occasion of David’s triumphant return. The the number of rings is unclear, it appears to have at least fifteen, which is a noticeably number of rings. The triangle is prominently placed in the middle of the painting.
