Abstract

In a biblical scene from the book of Judges, Jephthah's daughter comes out to greet her triumphant father, only to realize that he has promised to sacrifice to God, whatever comes out of his house first. In this image the triangle is played while seated, and is quite large , as is the uniquely shaped triangle beater.
