The object depicted is possibly not a triangle. There are strings that run vertically across the instrument; the object might be a triangular-shaped harp. Additionally, there is no triangle beater depicted. Lastly, but perhaps most important, the scene is not a musical scene. There are no other musical instruments shown, no dancing or singing, etc. Neither the harp nor the triangle are symbols typicallly connected with Venus.
